  • Ph.D. research: designing mobile information services; an approach for organisations in a value network (defended December 2004).
  • Combined project: investigation of user’s contexts in emergency situations aimed on developing supporting services based on innovative technologies (2005). Project of the DECIS lab, an initiative of Thales Research & Technology Netherlands (TRT-NL), the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), the Delft University of Technology (TUD), and the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Responsible for user requirements elicitation. (2005/2006)
  • UWB feasibility study to investigate wireless applications for the process industry (2004/2005). Project of Utellus and TU Delft (faculties of EWI and TPM). Responsible for user requirements elicitation.
  • Sedumeria: proposal for integrated project of FP-6 framework program from European Union, coordinated by IAMSR (Abo, Finland) (2005). Responsible for the creation and coordination of input from TU Delft and CSIR (South Africa).
  • Smartamlets: proposal for integrated project of FP-6 framework program from European Union, coordinated by IAMSR (Abo, Finland) (2003). Responsible for the creation and coordination of input from TU Delft.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary teams with research institutes (e.g. Telematica Instituut and TNO) and companies (e.g. KPN Research, ING bank) to investigate changing business models in the field of e-commerce and mobile business. Projects in question: BITA (‘Business models for Interactive Telematic Applications’ 2002), MOBUS (‘Mobile Business engineering’, 2001) and PLACE (‘Physical presence and Location Aspects in electronic Commerce Environments’, 2000-2001).
